Lovely place to walk around the woods - they do activities during the week, but on the weekend you can walk round the well sign posted routes

First visit after joining the trust. Lovely winter's day. Saw a raptor don't know what and just enjoyed the serenity ..so good to know such unspoilt areas exist..

Woods Mill nature reserve is great for naturalists providing opportunities to view all forms of interests in their natural habitats. Visiting food van and usual facilities.

I love visiting this nature reserve. There is always a wide variety of wildlife to observe and swans on the lake too. They have a dipping pond and provide activities to school groups. It is not particularly wheelchair or pushchair friendly although if the weather is dry you could just get away with it. Dogs are not permitted except guide dogs. There are toilets including baby changing facilities but there is nowhere to get any refreshments. It is not a good place for a picnic, just a walk. You could easily spend 1-2 hours exploring and relaxing here.

We went on a bat talk & walk. It was amazing! We had tea and cookies as we listened to a talk all about bats. They had 3 bats from a local bat hospital so we could see them close up. Then we each had a bat radio and went for a walk listening out for different bat calls. It was very educational and fun and I highly recommend it.
