A real quirky country pub with great atmosphere. Good selection of beers an an interesting menu. A visit will be rewarded!

What an amazing evening at the whearsheaf henfield. Friendly service, kid and dog friendly. Food is amazing. My husband's steak was on oar with the grand hotel if not better and my paella was better than any iiralian restaurant I've been to. Amazing.
We were made very welcome and very well looked after from the moment we arrived. Fish and chips were super, and so was my salad. The chef is lovely, he makes his own bread every day. I wish he made extra and just sold it. My second visit with this chef, I would highly recommend this pub.
Food ok but service was really really slow and very unprofessional. Was waiting for a cold salad for over 30 minutes and when it arrived no cutlery on the table. I don't mind a bit of adventure:) . The boy behind the bar was slower than my grandmother. Asked for a coffee after all and again waited ages for small espresso. I'd suggest to train the staff with a bit more enthusiasm or to be present at all time in order to help when they have more than three customers.
