It's a rather nice old pub on the old train line that is now the south downs link. Good for a place to stop when out walking or cycling the bridle way.They serve a variety of different drinks at not to bad a price and also serve food.We had the pleasure of ordering some lunch when we went the other day and it was delicious. I had the steak baguette which had so much steak in!!! My other half had the scampi with the biggest thick cut chips you will get see. We took our dogs which where warmly greeted and presented with their own water bowl and we where offered some complimentary dog treats which our girls loved. They have several different seating options including a nice area for children to play in and a beer garden for those whose other halves Wont let them go play on the toys because as she put it, 'arnt you too old for that now' I really think it was because she would be jealous and had to watch the dogs while I haf all the fun. Good pub nice service.
Great Pub for watching sport. Fantastic outside garden. Lots of things for kids to play on and with.
